Question
I'm starting an internship as a web developper, and one of my tasks is to do search engine optimization on the company's new website (basically improving its visibility on web search engines results, not by paying Goolag & cie but by actually not being a shitass with html tags, put relevant content, etc.).

Do you guys got any tips? Any good resources on the subject?

You need to work with google adsense or however it's called and find out what search terms are common related to your website. Then optimize the content on your page based on the search terms you want it to rank high on. Google also likes when your website is linked on other websites, which might be a little hard to do

Haven't thought about that yet. Thanks a bunch, since it is the right moment to approach this subject now that I'm taking notes about what/how to reformat/rewrite and preparing my indications for the people who are going to write the content.

Good. This sounds like a job some unpaid intern would do. Just wanted to make sure you're being compensated.

Edit: and quoting isn't working, epic fail XDD
When quoting, quote needs a parameter, for some reason. Do [quote='guest' …] or something.

The reason: The parameter is the post id, so you can jump to the quoted post when you click on the green arrow.
